Eclipse Opt Out
On April 8, 2024 we will have a unique opportunity to witness the solar eclipse. The timing of the eclipse will be approximately from 12:30-1:30 that day. The school has purchased protective glasses for all students and staff members. With safety being our first priority, please talk to your child about the dangers of looking directly at the sun without protection. Teacher’s who choose to have their class participate will also cover safety instructions within the classroom.
We would like to give the option to families who would prefer their child not view the solar eclipse. If you choose to opt your child out of viewing the solar eclipse, please sign and return this sheet before April 7, 2024. We will have an alternative activity planned for those who are opted out.
