MHS FFA INSTRUCTORS RECEIVE STATE RECOGNITION AWARDS
Mrs. Hinrichsen and Mrs. Umphenour attended the KAAE Midwinter Symposium in January. This conference presents all sorts of FFA information for Agriculture Educators. Needless to say, our incredible FFA teachers, took full advantage of all things and are excited about new adventures.
Congratulations to Mrs. Hinrichsen for being selected as the Kansas Association for Career and Tech Ed Young Teacher of the Year!! That is a fantastic award for an amazing teacher! We are proud of you Mrs. Hinrichsen!

Congratulations also go out to Mrs. Umphenour as she was accepted into the CASE (Curriculum for Agriculutral Science Education) Institute for Plant Science! This highly competitive position provides Professional Development training, which will provide even more classes in Ag Science, allowing even more students additional Science learning which can be used in 7th and 8th grade Exploratory Agriculture! Fantastic news!
