Families! I am so excited to lead McLouth Elementary and serve you and your students as principal. First, a little bit about me. I have been happily married to Keith Miller for almost 30 years. We have 2 grown children, Courtney who is starting her nursing career and Jake who works in IT for Barry-Wehmiller Company. I have 2 fur babies that sometimes get more attention than my own kiddos! This will be my 22nd year in education. I have taught many different grade levels from K-8th grade, but a majority of my experience has been in first and third grade. I served the Fort Scott school district as an instructional coach and last year as the K-2 principal. Four of my teaching years I spent right here in McLouth teaching first grade. McLouth has always felt like home and I am happy to be back to serve the community. I have 3 priorities that drive my day to day decisions: Faith, Family, and Students. I believe it is important to build relationships and that those relationships help drive the academic success of students.
